Curbside Service at West Valley Music

We are now offering most of our sales, repair and rental services by curbside delivery. Our physical store is still closed to customers but we are processing and taking payment by phone and email and delivering at the back door by appointment. Lessons are still online only. Please wear masks when you arrive and interact with staff at the doors.
Our current hours are Monday through Saturday 10am to 6pm. We expect to resume pre Covid19 hours when it is safely possible.

How does curbside service work?

Email is the best form of contact as that allows you to inquire on your own schedule and we can follow up more carefully. We are still understaffed and may take up to 48 hours to get back to you but will work as quickly as possible.
The phones are staffed all open hours and we are happy to take your calls as well.
Payment is taken either by a credit card over the phone or Paypal.
Once the transaction is finished we make an approximate appointment for you to show up at the back door for pick up or drop off. Please call 650-961-1566 if no one is at the table and we will come out with your order or drop off.

Rental Return and Pick Up

If you are returning an instrument, make an appointment first by email or call. This is to avoid lines in the back. For returns we will stop payments, return your deposit and ask you to place your instrument outside our quarantine room next to the table.
We are able to rent at this time over the phone and will shortly have the ability to rent an instrument online. But for now we will take your information and payment on the phone and bring it to the curbside table when you are here.

Repair Drop Off and Pick Up

Our repair shop is fully functional, we require an appointment for drop off by phone or email. Estimates and repairs will need a two to three day quarantine before the technician sees it so understand that estimates especially will take longer.

Sales

We are taking orders by email or phone for all print music, accessories and instruments. Again, processing payment before pick up and delivering to the back table when you arrive and call us. Lists are done easily by email or phone if the list is not big.
