With a design influenced by high-end Yamaha saxophones, the YTS-480 features highly accurate intonation, a warm tone and a quick response. It is lightweight yet durable, and comes with a professional-quality 62-style neck for a more mature quality of sound. 

A favorite among band directors for decades, the 62 model saxophones (and their predecessor, the 61) have redefined the market by offering superior quality and durability at an affordable price.. Introduced in 1979, the YAS-62 and YTS-62 saxophones withstand the tests of time and competition and have been in a continual state of improvement since the launch of the YAS-61 in 1969.

On the 10th Anniversary of their introduction, the Custom Z saxophones have been reexamined from neck to bell. They now offer the ultimate combination of expressiveness, response and control while staying true to their free-spirited origins. Since the Custom Z was developed in 2003, the technology, craftsmanship and specifications of the Custom Z series have continued to improve to fulfill the needs of the highest level musicians.

Improved versions of that proven classic the Custom 875, the EX saxes are the result of decades of painstaking reserch and trials involving some of the world's greatest saxophonists. They feature a smooth response and a deep, refined sound full of rich colors. They also feature a solid feel with quick and nimble action, a wide dynamic range, stunning projection, and an authoritative tone with a beautifully defined total core. You will find that the depth and smoothness of their sound is simply incredible, and you will also find that these horns are very flexible, at home in any kind of music. The size and shape of the key buttons have been changed for a better 'feel', while the new Custom necks enhance tonal resonance and give a quicker, more comfortable response. And the saxes feature a two-point bell brace for better efficiency, so you don't have to work as hard to sound great.

 The New Vintage Wood Stone tenor by Ishimori Winds combines their knowledge and experience of repairing saxophones with their concept for a modern tenor, resulting in a breathtaking musical instrument. These tenors are free-blowing and easy to play, with excellent intonation and smooth action throughout the full range. Their unique neck uses the 9x,xxx Mark VIs as a reference point, allowing the player a quick response and a warm, focused sound. Each tenor is setup at Ishimori's shop in Tokyo, and their attention to detail is magnificent. This tenor features a fully engraved bell and bow, high quality hard rubber left hand thumbrest, gold plated right hand thumbhook, a soldered bell for improved resonance, and silver neck screws which add warmth and roundness.
