All R13 Buffet clarinets are hand picked from the US warehouse in Florida.  We send a professional player/teacher out to pick out among 50 to 100 the clarinets with the best tone, intonation and evenness.  They are then professionally set up in our shop with trill key cork pads and adjustment.  For all this we charge $100 extra and still include a full one year playing condition warranty along with the one year crack warranty with Buffet.
